Classic, Copa & Dev League Guidelines

• Females must roster with a girls’ team in their club and use Club Pass to play for the boys’ team and follow the process listed in this section.

• For female players living in remote regions where no girls team exists, female players must file an Exception Request to play and roster on the boys team.

• Female player/parents must agree to sign a waiver 15-days prior to the start of each season. They acknowledge the possibility of increased injury probability playing on a boys' team 15- days prior to the start of any season.

• Any Club/Team guilty of using a female in a boys’ match who does not have a signed waiver on file with the League, forfeits the match, the coach will be suspended, and the Club will be fined $1500.

• Females "Club Passed" to Classic, Copa or Dev boys' teams must be highlighted on the Match Day Roster and identified to the opposing team prior to the start of the match. Mixed Gender Dev League teams will be considered Boy's teams for DEV League and WA Cup Tournament play.

 

• For Washington Cup, females may only play in one event, for one team, during each soccer year (May to May). Female players will need to file an Exception Request to be placed if they are being put on the WA Cup boy’s roster.  Female players will need to file an "Exception Request" if they are requesting to be placed on a WA Cup boys' team roster.
