GENDER PLAYING POLICY

WPL WAIVER

Super League Guidelines

Club Director must submit a statement that notifies a female player or players who may be playing for a Boys' Super League team during specified season.

• The notification letter must be submitted to the Super League Advisory Committee 15-days prior to start of each league season. Females may not be added to the “Super League Notification list” after the 15-day deadline has passed.

• Female player/parents must agree to sign a waiver prior to the 15-day notification timeline, acknowledging the possibility of increased injury probability playing on a boys' team.

• A female player requesting to play on a Boys Super League team must be rostered to a Girls Classic Premier or Super League level team (from the same club) to be eligible. Females may not be rostered on a WPL Boys team (see exception below).

• Female players can only use the “Club Pass” to play on Boys' Super League teams unless approved otherwise by the Super League Advisory Committee. The females must be listed on the “Super League Notification list.”

• Females "Club Passing" to a Super League Boys' team must meet the age requirements of the Boys' team or be younger to be eligible to play.

• For Washington Cup, females may only play in one event, for one team, during each soccer year (May to May). Female players will need to file an Exception Request to be placed on the WA Cup boy’s roster.

• This is not a gender identify policy. Please see the League’s separate Gender Identity Policy.
